Exhibitors' comments: they answer our questions!

Through specific questions related to UAV Show and the drone industry, three of our 2025 exhibitors gave us their views on the latest developments in the sector and their expectations for the show.

What are your expectations for UAV Show?

"Continue to strengthen our ties with the drone ecosystem, particularly in France. Inform the ecosystem about our thermal-electric hybrid drone capabilities and the projects we are currently working on with our partners. To deepen our understanding of the ecosystem's operational needs in terms of drones and identify potential avenues for collaboration."

Vincent JOSEPHINE, for ASCENDANCE FLIGHT TECHNOLOGIES

"Our goal at the UAV SHOW is to meet players in the UAV world to share our composite innovation in order to introduce a new lightweight, economical, and resistant material to increase payload/range. This is an opportunity for us to make ourselves known in the UAV world."

Philippe TETU, for ALTERKFRAFT LAB SAS

"To observe the various technological trends in onboard observation systems. To understand current and future needs for onboard radar sensors. To identify IMU-sensor interface solutions and the expected data collected."

Christophe CALVEZ, for NUSENSE SAS

What new product(s) or solution(s) will you be showcasing?

"Our range of products for several drone ranges: hybrid electric propulsion systems. Numerous operational gains depending on the drone ranges equipped: endurance, elongation, discretion, etc. We will also inform the ecosystem about the progress of our projects and partnerships with players in the drone ecosystem."

Vincent JOSEPHINE, for ASCENDANCE FLIGHT TECHNOLOGIES

"We are highlighting our expertise in composite innovation. This material is bio-based, lightweight, economical, and has excellent electromagnetic transparency. Thanks to our expertise, we can adapt its performance with flax, basalt, or glass fiber as needed. Its light weight reduces overall mass, which translates into increased payload or storage capacity."

Philippe TETU, for ALTERKFRAFT LAB SAS

"We will be showcasing compact radar solutions for precision altimetry, navigation aid (anti-collision) and imaging applications. We will also be presenting anti-drone solutions."

Christophe CALVEZ, for NUSENSE SAS

In your opinion, what are the current and future challenges for the drone industry?

"The drone industry must be able to prepare for an increase in production, particularly for defense applications. To this end, industry players must be able to collaborate effectively, regardless of their position in the value chain (drone manufacturer, equipment supplier, payload supplier, etc.), in order to meet this growing demand."

Vincent JOSEPHINE, for ASCENDANCE FLIGHT TECHNOLOGIES

"The challenges for the UAV and drone industry are diverse, particularly in terms of drone autonomy, their environmental impact, and their ability to process data through the development of AI. The stakes are growing rapidly, with a wide range of applications in the civil, industrial, agricultural, and military sectors. For us, the UAV industry is undergoing a major transformation and areas of application are evolving, requiring technological innovation to meet these new challenges."

Philippe TETU, for ALTERKFRAKT LAB SAS

"There is a sovereignty issue with defense solutions (particularly components and sensors)."

Christophe CALVEZ, for NUSENSE SAS
