X721 FRANCE

Interview with Céline BURGER, Managing Director

What are your expectations for UAV SHOW?

We see UAV SHOW as a major platform for networking and visibility, providing an opportunity to present Heliblade to a specialised and influential audience in the field of drones and ultralight aircraft.

We aim to:

  • Meet industrial and technology partners to accelerate development and commercialisation.
  • Exchange with experts and end users to refine our offering and respond to the real needs of the market.
  • Benefit from a showcase to demonstrate the relevance and competitiveness of our solution compared with existing alternatives.
  • Identify funding opportunities, collaborations and opportunities to integrate our technology into strategic projects.
  • Highlight the technological innovation and sustainable nature of our aircraft.

For us, UAV SHOW is a key event for establishing our credibility and accelerating our commercial development.

What new products, innovations and/or solutions will you be showcasing?

We will be presenting Heliblade, our ultralight aircraft designed for Very High Altitude operations.

It features a new ultralight rotary-wing architecture, solar-electric propulsion and a reusable structure that can be deployed within just a few days.

Heliblade opens up an as-yet untapped airspace for observation, monitoring/detection and communications missions, offering a simple, sustainable and competitive solution compared with conventional stratospheric platforms.

In your view, what are the current and future challenges facing the drone industry?

The drone industry faces a number of major challenges, both today and in the years ahead:

  • Evolving regulations: adapting regulatory frameworks, particularly for beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations and the integration of drones into shared airspace, is essential to enable safe, large-scale deployment.
  • Autonomy and onboard intelligence: developing increasingly autonomous drones incorporating artificial intelligence for navigation, obstacle detection and real-time decision-making.
  • Technological innovation: improving battery technologies, including solid-state batteries.
  • Social and environmental acceptance: managing noise pollution, protecting privacy and addressing the environmental impact of drones are key factors in gaining acceptance from the public and authorities.
  • Industrial and commercial deployment: the continued growth of civil and professional applications.

Addressing these challenges requires close collaboration between industry players, authorities, researchers and end users to ensure the safe and sustainable development of the drone industry.

INNOV'ATM

Interview with Stéphane BASCOBERT, Deputy Managing Director

What are your expectations for UAV SHOW?

We expect UAV SHOW to be a genuine platform for exchange between key players in the drone industry.

For us, it is an opportunity to meet industry professionals, discover the latest innovations and present our drone mission planning solution, DroneKeeper®, to a targeted audience.

We also hope to establish new partnerships and identify market trends in order to develop our offering in line with the market’s real needs.

What new products, innovations and/or solutions will you be showcasing?

We will, of course, be presenting our DroneKeeper® solution, as well as our AirSpaceKeeper® flight authorisation management portal for authorities.

With AirSpaceKeeper®, authorities will be able to simplify the submission and review of drone missions by customising the validation process. They will also be able to add constraints to flight areas.

We hope to engage with military stakeholders and present this solution to them during the show.

In your view, what are the current and future challenges facing the drone industry?

The main challenges facing the drone industry include the integration of drones into airspace, the automation of operations, regulatory compliance and the development of new high-value applications.

At Innov’ATM, we address these challenges as a certified USSP, through our drone traffic management solutions and innovative projects such as DroneMED, which demonstrates the potential of drones for medical transport and critical missions of the future.

Connektica

Interview with Jeremy Perrin, CEO & Co-founder

What are your expectations for UAV SHOW?

We are looking to meet SMEs that are scaling up their production capabilities, enabling them to produce faster, at controlled costs and while meeting the required quality standards.

What new products, innovations and/or solutions will you be showcasing?

We will be showcasing a software solution for guided assembly operators, as well as an automated testing solution for highly complex industries

In your view, what are the current and future challenges facing the drone industry?

From our perspective, the drone industry faces several key challenges:

  • Building a network of qualified and interconnected SMEs, rather than concentrating the entire ecosystem around a single major player.
  • Protecting intellectual property throughout the industrial process, from the prototyping stage onwards. This is essential for successful dual sourcing and subcontracting.
  • Improving competitiveness through greater efficiency: producing faster, at controlled costs and with the right level of quality, including by enabling non-engineering operators to be deployed according to production requirements.
  • Standardising processes.
  • Ensuring digital interoperability and end-to-end proof of compliance throughout the supply chain.

GACHES CHIMIE

Interview with Florent OGULINAC, Sales Director

What are your expectations for UAV SHOW?

Our aim is to raise awareness of our products and services relating to composite materials and demonstrate how GACHES can support the growing needs and volumes of the drone industry.

We offer technical and service solutions tailored to the specifications of different industry players and their respective market positioning.

What new products, innovations and/or solutions will you be showcasing?

We will be showcasing epoxy and cyanate ester prepregs with radio-frequency properties and short processing cycles designed to support high production volumes.

We will also present core materials designed to reduce structural weight while providing radio-frequency properties, cut to size according to requirements, including PET, ROHACELL, PMI, PEI and Airex cores.

In your view, what are the current and future challenges facing the drone industry?

The key challenges include:

  • Radio-frequency properties
  • Rapid production ramp-up
  • An optimised, local supply chain
  • Technical and technological solutions capable of meeting the evolving needs of the industry
