What are your expectations for UAV Show?

UAV Show represents a privileged opportunity to meet the entire drone ecosystem, whether civil, military or dual-use. Our participation aims to strengthen our visibility among industry stakeholders, develop new collaborations, and showcase STMicroelectronics’ technological solutions dedicated to drone applications. It is also an opportunity to exchange on technological sovereignty challenges and support the development of French and European industrial capabilities.

What innovations or solutions will you showcase?

We will present a broad portfolio of technologies for drone designers and manufacturers, including our 32-bit microcontrollers with or without embedded artificial intelligence capabilities, our high-performance 64-bit microprocessors, as well as our GNSS positioning solutions and advanced optical sensors. These innovations enhance performance, autonomy, accuracy and intelligence in unmanned aerial systems.

What are the main challenges facing the drone industry today and in the future?

One of the main challenges is ensuring a rapid scaling of development and production capabilities, particularly in the defence sector. This requires relying on reliable, secure and sovereign technological building blocks, while strengthening a robust European supply chain. Mastering strategic components, industrial resilience and innovation will remain key factors in meeting growing market demands and ensuring technological autonomy for French and European stakeholders.
