Bordeaux, UAV Show – October 2025
The French company I-SEE, a specialist in long-range heavy drones, will unveil for the first time its brand-new model, the Spearhead (“Fer de lance”), at the UAV Show in Bordeaux.
This lightweight jet-powered tactical drone, a true European innovation, marks a new era in fast and cost-effective aerial engagement.
Designed to reach speeds of over 500 km/h, the Spearhead combines speed, agility, and striking power.
It can carry laser-guided munitions as well as small jet-powered drones mounted under the wings, called MTO (tele-operated munitions).
These systems offer an unprecedented capability: neutralizing enemy drones while restoring the cost-effectiveness balance between the threat and the means used to counter it.
The integration of a jet engine gives the Spearhead unmatched operational superiority. It also introduces tactical innovations enabling new employment strategies, both in high-intensity conflicts and in the fight against terrorism and asymmetric threats.
Designed with optimized acquisition costs, the Spearhead enables the deployment of large fleets, ready to form a first line of defense against massive attacks.
Its MTOs can saturate enemy defenses in a major conflict while significantly reducing the cost per engagement.
This approach strengthens the armed forces’ ability to rely on an effective, flexible, and sustainable tool.
With more than 15 years of research and development, I-SEE designs, manufactures, and markets long-range heavy drones for observation, surveillance, and aerial intervention.
Thanks to open system architectures and competitive costs, I-SEE solutions can adapt to all types of operational theaters while supporting the emergence of new operational concepts.
