STERNA Hybrid Pack - Hybrid electric propulsion for drones
With our technology, we can multiply the endurance and elongation of all-electric UAVs by up to x4, and increase stealth (reduction of acoustic and IR signatures) for thermal UAVs.
We design and manufacture a family of hybrid-electric propulsion systems for UAVs, including :
- a battery pack designed natively for hybridisation (more compact, lighter, more charge/discharge cycles), in partnership with our French partner EXOES
- a Hybrid Energy Management System, which automatically manages the power split according to the phases of flight
- a Hybrid Core Unit (HCU), which distributes the electrical power.
We offer several families of STERNA Hybrid Pack:
- AHG-10 for Small Tactical UAVs (c. 25kg MTOW)
- AHP-40 for Light Tactical UAVs (50-150 kg MTOW)
- AHP-400 for Heavy Cargo UAVs (c. 300kg payload)
