Military warheads for loitering munition and interceptors

The KNDS warhead family for loitering munition offers manufacturers and armed forces with easily integrable, highly effective and safe solutions, to defeat a wide spectrum of targets, from deployed infantry to heavy armored targets. Thanks to an innovative industrial process, our warheads come in different weight classes to fit the technical limitations of the platforms as well as fulfill the operational needs of its user. In addition to their excellent terminal effect, our warheads can be equipped with an electronic slapper SAD, granting a 5 step safety system, offering maximum safety and allowing for a safe return of the loitering munition, or, can be equipped with a conventional 1A/1W ignition device for an easier platform integration. Thanks to our long history of ammunition manufacturing, we are able to offer custom made solutions (effect class, weight class and level of safety) for specific needs. All warheads are completely ITAR and BAFA free.

Fragmentation warhead:
Filled with preformed fragments, increasing the lethality radius against soft targets and aerial threats such as UAVs. Fragment number and mass can be adjusted to customer requirements (space, mass, efficiency…).

Explosively formed penetrator warhead (EFP):
Inspired by the BONUS technology, detonation occurs more than 30m away from the target, the explosively formed penetrator reaches a velocity of over 2 000m/s allowing for the defeat of heavy armored targets through a top-attack pattern, even when protected by cope cages or APS.

Shaped charge warhead:
Upon impact with its target, the copper liner is turned into a high velocity jet, able to penetrate and defeat heavy armored targets such as MBTs
